FIBROUS PLASTERBOARD
plastec Fibrous Plasterboard is made of gypsum plaster reinforced with strands of fibreglass evenly distributed thoughout, approximately 3% of its mass or at the ratio of 365 grams per m² and with the density of the board between 900 to 1000kg/m³. Its does not contain asbestos or other inorganic fibre. Fibrous Plasterboard Ceiling have been widely used by Architect and builder because of its flexibility of moulding into various shapes and sizes accordingly design requirement. Being light weight and non-combustible, Fibrous Plasterboard combines superb surface quality with the in-built strength of fibre-glass reinforcement.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES
Appearance
Smooth white in color, slightly rough texture on the reverse. Surface ideal for all types of decorative finish, including paint and wall paper
Thickness/Size
Fibrous Plaster Board comes in various thickness from 9mm, 12mm, 19mm or special requirement from client. Each board is 1220mm x 1830mm in size
Density
Normal Dry density of 1000kg/m³ ±10%, and weighs approximately 20kg per piece of 9mm thick baord and approximately 28kg per piece of 12mm thick board

FIRE RESISTANCE
plastec Fibrous Plasterboard is non-combustible which comply with the building authority fire code. Tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 4 : 1970 "Fire test on Building Materials and structures-Non-Combustibility Test for Materials". |

MOISTURE RESISTANCE
For moisture resistance properties board (MR Fibrous Plasterboard) an approved silicon additive is added to the gypsum to forges a close knit crystalline gypsum particle, reducing porosity that has a water moisture repellant surface . Passed the requirement under water absorption test BS 1230 Part 1 : 1985 |
