Gypsum Block Wall
plastec Gypsum Light Weight Block consists of high grade Alpha gypsum, alkaline resistance glass-fibres sand aggregate and approved silicon additive for moisture resistance properties. Using the German Advance Technology, the process of moulding the Gypsum Blocks are done by 'Injection Method', which is done under stringent control to ensure excellent quality and consistency.
Gypsum Light Weight Block have two smooth surfaces and each block is moluded with tongue and groove at all sides, to enable them to be fitted perfectly together during assembly. The blocks are light, simple and faster to build and provides a quality smooth finsihing without the need of sand plastering.
Uts durability, robustility and rigidity is proven after all the stringent test accordance to British Standard.

METHOD OF INSTALLATION

Mark out the position of the wall on the floor and intersecting walls. Mixing of plastec Block Adhesive Compound and applied by using a board knife or trowel onto the floor and all leading edges of the plastec Gypsum Block |

Set the first block in place with the grooved edges facing downwards and adjacent to the intersecting walls using plastec Block Adhesive Compound on the job

Start alternative course with half block to form over-lapping staggered joint
|

As each block is set into position, it is then tapped with a rubber mallet to ensure a tight joint. Also check alignment and straightness of the wall |

A metal strap to assist fixing to an existing column or wall at every alternative course is recommended
|

plastec Gypsum Block Wall can be continously laid till height require and ready for final skim coat
|

On completing of the erection of wall, flush all block surface to a smooth finish by applying a thin coat of skim coat with steel trowel. Skim coat can be applied immediately upon completion of wall |

Corner bead is being installed for a better finishes and to protect corners from being chip off by impact

FIXING DETAIL
Varies types of fitting and finishes can be mounted on plastec Gypsum Block Wall, wall tiling, wash basin, urinal, etc.
CONCEALED M&E SERVICES
Block may be cut, sawn, drilled, milled or dowelled on the job. Upon fixing of services, patches can be done using cement mortar or plastec Adhesive Compound
