HDP BOARD

plastec HDP Board consists of high grade Alpha gypsum reinforced by short strand of glass-fibres for strength and durablity.
HDP Board is a Smooth surface and asbestos free plasterboard with tough surface and impact resistance.
It is ideal for Drywall Partition, which require Acoustic performance and complying building authority fire code.

PRODUCT PROPERTIES

FIRE RESISTANCE
HDP Board is non-combustible which comply with the building authority fire code. Achieved 2 hours Fire Rating Tested in accordance with BS 476 Part 22
MOISTURE RESISTANCE
With a moisture resistance properties by adding silicon additive during fabrication process. (Hydrophobing treatment-a process to make powder casted material water repellant. Passed the requirement under water absorption test BS 1230 Part 1 : 1985
SOUND INSULATION
Sound insulation is another consideration for quality wall system, plastec HDP Board Partition. Wall System can achieve a sound transmission class of 46 STC

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
plastec HDP Board is resistant to dilute chemical, acids, alkalis, bleaching agents, chlorine solutions and solvents. Hence alkali resisting primers are not required. It does not contain any asbestos or inorganic fibres.

IMPACT RESISTANCE
plastec HDP Board fabricated from High grade Alpha gypsum reinforced by glass-fibres strand for strength and durablity. Achieve Severe Duty under the Strength and Robustness test in accordance to British Standard 5234 : Part 2 : 1992. 
It can also withstand impact load, crowd pressure and mounting load.

plastec HDP Board consists of high grade Alpha gypsum and glass-fibre of 5% to 6% by weight, white in colour with smooth surface and lightly textured at reverse, with density of 1200kg/m³ and non-combustible.
